Original vista software and hp performance.

Hello,
i own a hp dv 6000 notebook pc and recently it crashed leaving me no option but to replace the hard disk which i did but i was only able to acquire one of lower size. 120gig. when i inserted the vista software cd it loaded and after that the graphics were very poor and the writings looked very vague and it reduced my systems performance to 1.0 from 3.5 please i wanna know what is wrong with my system and if the vista software was a fake one i am in a fix here, someone please bail me out. my email is jamil_mohammed86@yahoo.com. please i need help.

You need to download the HP specific hardware drivers for your motherboard and video processor. You should be able to find them at www.hp.com
