Boot from CD rom is not coming

Hello,
i want to format my pc so i made the CD Rom as 1st boot device from BIOS setting. But after restart "Boot from CD Rom" will not display, instead of it the previous windwo starts even i want to format it. Plz help me

Dear Sir,

You will have to put the Windows Installation disc in your drive to boot from it,

Then you will have to follow the instructions, and format your primary partition to install windows
