Down grading from Windows 7 RC to Windows XP

Hello,
I bought an Hp Pavilion dv-1220 us with AMD Turion x2 (64) 3 month ago. It came with windows Vistas which i upgraded to windows 7 Release candidate. The windows 7 is unstable with some of my important applicaitons so now I am in need for a downgrade to windows XP. I followed some of the suggestions posted in this website but couldn't get a successfull installation of windows XP....Please send me some help.

Dear Sir,

To install XP,

First of all you will have to change some settings on your bios,

Just change the SATA configuration, from AHCI to IDE

Then begin Windows XP installation,

Just boot the disc and then follow the instructions
