Hello,

Before I updated my computer to Windows XP, I had my Windows Intro music set to a short 30 second clip. (By Windows Into music I mean the music that plays when you turn on the PC) I like the idea of not listening to the stupid intro song anymore, and any replys would be appreciated, helpful or not.

Thanks to anyone who responds,

Tom

So u ask that how can u change the music in XP?

Start->Control Panel->Sounds and Audio hardware (or something like that,i can't translate any better xD, it has a speaker icon) on the opened window chose the Sound tab. There u can change the sounds.

go to control panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sounds Tab
Look for Exit Windows, Start Windows, Windows Logon and Windows Logoff.
Change these Sounds selections (pull down) to "none" and then press OK.

Presto! these annoying sounds on startup and shutdown will be gone!
