XP not seeing my second hard drive

I reformatted and reinstalled XP on my main HDD. I have another drive in the machine with data on it. When I finished reformatting and reinstalling, I could see the other drive in Explorer. I managed to copy some backed up files to the main drive. Now I cannot see the second drive. Any suggestions???
