One long bleep & two short and blank screen

Hello,
On switch on the computer gives one long bleep then two short ones; the screen remains blank but it sounds like it is starting up. Who know's what the Bleep code stands for - is it a hardware fault and which pice of hardwear. I hear some talk of six bleeps which I guess means something else !

HP pavillion dv6000 laptop using window 7

One long two short means there's something wrong with your video (Mono/CGA Display Circuitry) card. Try making sure everything is plugged in inside; my messed up when I moved the comp and dislodged a power cord. Good luck!

the one long beeps means their have misreplacement of your laptop memory...
