Hello,
I have the Compaq Presario 2818 AP laptop. It has gone off and will not restart. I have bought the new universal AC adapter for my laptop but still did not work and turn it on.. I have bought the original battery also but still does not power on...

Please help as i have lots of important data into it...

Hi there,

You must get it checked by a qualified Technician and get the issue fixed since you already changed battery and adapter.
