Hello,
I poured a small amount of tea, accidently, on my Dell Inspiron 1764 Laptop. Immediaely, I dried it and turned the laptop upside down, in order to let all the tea to drain out. However, after waiting for a day and turning it on, my keyboard does not respond at all. It boots up but after entering the screen which asks for the computer password, It just does not accept keyboard entries. Can someone help me with how to fix this problem. If I have to replace the keyboard, how do I remove the keyboard on this model and where do I buy the keyboard. It seems even Dell is not selling this Keyboard on its support website.
Also, I can not find any repair manuals/videos on this model on the internet (it is one of the newest models). If anyone can guide me to the right track on how to fix this problem, I truly appreciate their assistance.

I just did the exact same thing and have the exact same problem. Were you able to find the keyboard?

Good luck finding it. There is one for the 1564 on Ebay.

Service manual : support.dell.com
enter service tag and click on manuals.

Once downloaded, unzip and click on index.
