Setup internet service

Hello, i just bought a hp notebook pavilion dv5, but I can't connect to internet. so I want to know that how I should set up the internet option. P.S i subscribe a comcast cable.

Call Comcast and order a internet broadband Modem and connection kit. There are deals on the internet with rebates of up to 150 dollars - that you don't get if you call Comcast directly so you might want to investigate those first.

actually, i have that and have been using that for my desktop for more than 2 months. but when i connect to my new labtop, it displays unsuccessfully connect to internet.
