Unable to load windows 7 on compaq 610

Hello,
unable to load windows 7 on compaq 610

When I put bootable windows 7 in compaq 610 then it is not booting. I have already set SATA to disable mode. same cd/dvd when I am using in DELL 610 , it is working fine. Plz help

Hi,

Seems you are lost what you did is done for xp installation,reset bios to default then change boot sequence to cd/dvd drive and save exit settings then boot from installation cd to proceed with it following onscreen given instructions.

lot of thanks for response but my dear friend I have already tried this. DVD and DVD ROM both are in working condition. but still same problem
