Laptop to Sanyo LCD TV via HDMI...No sound

Hello, I have a Lenovo laptop (Windows 7). When I hooked the laptop to my TV the first few times everything worked perfectly without changing any settings. Now, when I hook my laptop to my TV, I get a picture but no sound. The funny thing is....it works fine when I hook it to my sons TV via HDMI. Ugh! I don't know what has happened with my TV since I hooked the laptop up last. I have tried the differennt tips listed in this forum but have been unable to change the default as suggested due to no option to do so. Did my HDMI ports on my TV just stop working? (I have tried all 3 HDMI ports with the same results). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Tracey.

Here is what worked for me when nothing else did. I right clicked on the little sound icon at the bottom right of my computer (on the toolbar) and clicked Playback devices. At first the only options were Speakers/Headphones and Communications Headphones. All you have to do is right click on the blank/empty part of the area and make sure Show Disabled Devices is checked. Once you check that, you should see an option to select your HDtv. Click on that as your default and it should play after that. :)
