Asus laptop not turning on.

Hello,
My Asus laptop does not turn on immediately. When i hit the power button the green light goes on like the laptop is on but it is actually off. The screen is black and i cant hear a noise from the fans (usually they are noisy). After i leave it that away for about 15-20 minutes the laptop actually turns on but the next time i shut down same thing happens. So this is the problem.

I had somewhat similar problem my Asus laptop didn't turn on so I took the battery out and held the power button for like 30 seconds and then put it back in and pressed the power button and it turned on wish this helps
