Check the spelling - is it svchost or scvhost? If it's the latter, it's a virus. In case your computer is NOT infected, check out an article here: https://www.fileinspect.com/fileinfo/svchost-exe/ It helped me when I had a similar problem.

I have the same SCVhost, (the virus one). It doesn't take up much, I even tried closing all them down, with end Windows Manager, All I get is a message saying System Shutdown (even though, you could cancel that).

Its a virus

It was a virus I had. =-[. Now its gone. I have a vundo trojan, I think it injects itself to explorer.exe....

First of all make sure you do not have any malware in the form of viruses or spyware. Run your anti virus and anti spyware programs in order to clear out any beasts.
If you do not have any protection these are available for free:
For anti virus I suggest:
https://www.avast.com/fr-fr/index
For anti spyware I suggest:
https://www.superantispyware.com/

After you removed computer virus, computer virus may have damaged your registry. So you need to download a Registry Cleaner to fix it. I advise you to choose RegTweaker.I used it before and felt good.It is quite useful. You can not only use it to repare registry but also clean junk files. You can also use it to optimize Internet and repare IE.more information here:http://windows7easycleaner.info

Check-out properly whether its svchost or scvhost

svchost----system component. Which is needed by system to run

scvhost----may be a virus
