Problem with fn keys in Laptop after installing Win 7 Ultimate

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop VPCEH26EN. It had genuine Win 7 Home Basic from the start.
But because of problems I formatted my laptop and installed Win 7 Ultimate.
After that my fn keys stopped showing for Volume and stopped working for brightness and others.

Please let me know how to solve this problem.

Note: This Win 7 Ultimate OS is not configured according to SONY, I got it from my friend.

Please help me with my issue.

Hi

A friend give it you, and where did the key to activate it come from ?

If you want a real OS and want it to work well you buy one or reinstall the original one, if you don't want to and prefer something free and legal well use linux.
