Pc does not read a CD?

i have a windows 7 PC....when i insert a disc for songs and try to open it in CD Driver it says : please insert a disc into DVD Drive...please help...what can i do? thank you :)

Clean the lens with a soft cloth.

i just did it and when i try to open on dvd driver it say insert cd :/

If it does the same thing with all cd's there are two other possible solutions:

1. Update the driver, if that fails,
2. Replace the CD Rom

If other CD's work then the one you are trying to use is dirty or damaged.
