Hey there, Nasa.
What methods have you tried to format the USB flash drive? Do you get any error messages?
You could try reformatting it via a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. Another option is to download the pen drive manufacturer's format tool/utility from its website, to see if you'll be able to format it this way.
