Excel Viewer is a software designed by Microsoft. Its main function is to open and print Excel workbooks even though there is no Excel Office installed on your computer.

Note: Excel Viewer was discontinued in April 2018, and there will be no more security updates. The publisher recommends using the Excel mobile app or storing your excel documents in OneDrive or Dropbox so Excel Online opens them.

Editing: indeed, Excel Viewer is packed with various options for manipulating an Excel sheet. For example, we can count among others creating new file and open button. This action allows rectifying and bringing modification to the Excel file.
Importing: apart from these features, Excel Viewer also supports importing data from another program such as accounting software. This is helpful when the user wants to treat together these data with a single Excel sheet.

Please note that Excel Viewer is a 32-bits application but can also be run in 64-bits versions of Windows.
