Toshiba laptop power for only 8 seconds, no display

I was working with my laptop when i realised that the AC adapter is detached and i attached it back and immediately i did that, the laptop tripped off and since then it wont power on nor charge.
Took it to an engineer who did his expertise and then the laptop does charge but still wont power on and the engineer said that its the 'spider IC' that has problem. Took it to another engineer who change the spider IC but yet the laptop will only power on for about 8seconds without any display before tripping off again.
Please how can you be of help
