Cannot attach files to email

Hello,
Whenever I go to attach a file the files show up but when I click on the file it blinks but the file doesn't show up in the email I even tried dragging it but the file wont show up in the email

What email program are you using? Is this a web page? Did you click on the select, then upload, then save, then send?
