Must restart the player or program before the sounds comes back

Hello,
I am Sam Bennet. My speakers and audio jack work very well. It works with a headphone plugged in as well. I plugged in a headphone and all of a sudden it wasn't working and when i pull out the headphone also the speakers don't work unless i restart the player or program before the sounds will come back
