Pc not booting up after buying new hardware

So i have bought myself a ryzen 5 and a motherboard (asus) to go with it and installed everything like the guide said and my pc turned on for a few minutes but after that it black screened and i coulndt start it properly (i can access the boot menu but thats it) all my fans turn on violently and my pc wont boot up beyond the asus logo and the information to go to bios

so you changed the CPU and motherboard - But, kept the old hard disk and Windows OS?
