No longer have access to phone and can't receive Yahoo key

Hello,

I know my Yahoo password and username but it's asking for the key and I no longer have access to the old phone number that's with that account ,so why is there no way I can just put my password in to add my new number to my account please help!!!

To change the number you must gain access with the number you no longer have.
