Files are not hidden but not shown on usb drive

Hello,

all contents on my flash drive are not hidden(attributes) but also not visible. the size shown by the system is true but the files and folders are not present inside my USB even on applying command (attrib -s -h -r -a /s /d i:\*.*) successfully. All folders are empty and recovery software also failed to find my data.please help me....
