Mpeg4 software encoded vedio file playable

Hello,
i would like to know is mpeg4 vedio cd/dvd playable in home dvd player???
i have downloaded some vedios from internet, i have converted it in the mpeg4 format, so i would like to make a cd/dvd, so is it playable in home dvd player??? my home dvd player is palyed .mpg formated dvd/cd's

Okey... I have this problem to... I have already make .AVI, .MP4 and .DIVX all those format cannot play in my DVD Player from USB...

I don't know how to convert .FLV file and .DAT file to make it compatible and can play it in My DVD Player.

My DVD Player made in China.

Tks.

Hello,

In order to run .avi files on your dvd at home, it should be divx compatible!
