If the sender sent the the document in Zip you cannot change it to pdf until the zip is decompressed.

@jules1968 - is it a PDF or a zip file? If it is a zipped pdf, it is a zip file. Get 7 zip here https://www.7-zip.org/ and use it for your ZIPped files!

It's normal that you should see the contents of the zip file in Yahoo. Zip is not a file format but a compressed file. It cannot be saved in another format, just the files that are inside the zip.

No, you cannot save a zip files as pdf. You must first download the zip file, then you unzip (decompressed) the file. Once unzipped, you can do whatever you want with whatever document that was inside the zip file.

I am pretty sure they were sent to you in a zip file or the file sent is corrupted.

Do one of the following:

To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location.

To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
