Inconsistencies in obtaining UTube transcripts

On my PC running under Windows 10 I can obtain the transcript of the text of a u-tube video as set out at https://ccm.net/faq/40644-how-to-get-the-transcript-of-a-youtube-video

Using a tablet, I do not see the elipsis (three dots) that enable me to obtain the transcript on a PC.


Is there another route to get a transcript from a tablet, please?

Note that transcripts are only available for videos that have closed captioning.
