Newly built pc won’t display

Okay, I need some help. First I shall start out by saying this is my first PC build..

Motherboard lights up
Fans are running
Boot beep
No display.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Yes the power supply is plugged in
Yes the outlet the surge protector is plugged into is working fine
Yes I flipped the switch on the back of the power supply.

Plug the monitor into the motherboard directly instead of the GPU
