try resetting the phone in no sim mode. (Witout sim type *2767*3855#) this will set the phone to default settings and all the messages stored in folders will get deleted.. Then I insert another service provider the message box will open.. then I inserted that sim card (The one which was showing the error) and delete messages from that sim..
