HP pavilion G6 screen problem

Hello,



I noticed when I turned on my HP pavilion G6 ,sometimes it on with all the lights on the keyboard on but the screen would be blank like it was before switching it on. Sometimes it would be while in use, the screen would just go off while the laptop is still on. Please what do I do, I have tried resetting, not working.

Try an external monitor and see if you get a display. If you do get a display on the external monitor, your laptop's screen back lights probably need to be replaced.
