If it is server shares, then you should be able to overcome this with restoring to previous copies of the folders! What No Back-ups? What kind of ADMIN are you?

Hi
I share ac3mark's opinion.
Datawait is a new ransomware for which, for the time being, there is no decryption solution.
It would be much too simple to just renaming the files to solve the issue and foolish to think it would work.
The best you can do is to delete the virus in your system and wait. A solution will eventually be found by antivirus labs.
If you pay the ransom, there is no guarantee that the pirates will decrypt your files. Certainly, it will encourage them to infect you again.
Best regards
