My Acer Aspire S3 series won't start Solved/Closed

Question

Hi, 

I am unable to start my Acer Aspire 3 series laptop. When I press the power button, it blinks an orange light 5 times and then stops. Nothing happened after it. A blue LED was usually lit. I tried the reset procedure (I pressed the power button for 30 seconds) but it did not work.

Please help!

Is it plugged into the wall, too, or just on battery?  It is telling you your battery is dead!  Charge it!''Let us know if it still happens when plugged into a live AC outlet!

The laptop is plugged into the wall, the battery is fully charged.
The same symptoms.

OK, unplug from wall, and unplug the cord to the power.  take you r battery out, and press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.   Place the battery back in, and reboot!
