Hi,
There could be many factors why your laptop is dead, but the main factor could be a faulty battery. Try to charge the laptop directly to a wall outlet for 4-8 hours and see if you are able to turn it on. If not, then battery needs to be replaced. Better yet, take the laptop to a local repair shop for them to isolate the issue and let you know what part is malfunctioning, it could be other part aside from battery.
