Toshiba black screen

Hello,
well my toshiba A215 screen blacked out even when i switch on nothing shows though it shows its working coz the fan runs n the key shows its on. the screen seems to be fine because even when i connect an external monitor nothing shows. so i can use any help

to use another screen you should select it to be run from your display properties! i think there's a problem with your screen plz see a technician!

Thats the dumbest answer ever. he said he hooked it to an external monitor and it does the same thing. Please read all and think about what your saying before wasting someones time with a pointless answer
