My windows laptop only shows background and no icons

My laptop shows the background with no icons , I did the ctrl,Alt,Del and I saw no file just lock ,switch user,sign out,change password and task manager help ?

Hi,
Do you see your taskbar ? If not, press the Windows + R keys and type "taskmgr". Next, click File > New task and type "explorer.exe". Then click Ok.
If you see the taskbar, right click on your desktop and choose View > Show desktop icons.
