Problem with browser not opening web pages

My internet connection is strong. When internet loads up and it loads to msn works great ..but it doesn't load up any browsers or open any websites.I am running windows XP.. I tried some many things on YouTube but to no avail..can some one with knowledge help me please.

Hi,

Internet Explorer no longer works on Windows XP. I suggest you download Firefox ESR.

The reason I was asking the forum. Was I am unable to go outside my startup program when opening up the internet..that means it doesn't open any web pages, doesn't up load any browsers, except MSN. I wish I could download a browser.

Also ...this is the message that comes across my laptop.." Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer.

Is it a Windows 32 bit or 64 bit?
