Aspire E5-571P Will not boot up

I removed battery, held power button.
Blue light is on, can hear it try to boot, then it clicks off and back on

Wow you have a really busted up laptop if it powers up with the battery out, and the power cord unplugged. If you were attempting to reset the registers, you were not performing it correctly, as NO power should be available to the laptop in order to reset it. Try again, and post back!
