How do I access my gmail if Google is down?

Hello,

yesterday I could not access google or my gmail even though I had access to other sites. This lasted all day. (30.5.2019) Is there another way to open gmail without going through google - e.g. a link through Microsoft Edge?

If you are using a link to gain access to google, stop. Type in www.google.com and hit enter. if that does not work, go ahead and try another browser.
