Can't access my Yahoo mail...

Hello,
I have a Yahoo account (mail) and I know the password but Yahoo is prompting me for a security question that I DON'T remember, because they have some "unusual acrivity" (it's probabily me because before that I had some "password tries".
What can I do to get my account back?

Yahoo's system may ask for security questions but they no longer work. When is the last time you successfully accessed your account?

Well, more then a year ago...
Is there hope to recover it?

Unfortunately not.

Yahoo deletes accounts that have been inactive for 12 months.

You will not be able to recover account. Sorry.
