Hello, I would like to know what is the function of that option? I looked for information on the net, but I couldn't understand it in general. I would also like to know its pros and cons.

It is a requirement of 802.11N.

RIFS (Reduced Inter-Frame Spacing): RIFS is a required 802.11n feature that also improves performance by reducing the amount of dead time required between OFDM transmissions.
