remove duckduckgo and I lost cortana Closed

Question

I put duckduckgo on my laptop and am finding it too restrictive. How do I get rid of it?

Also, I can no longer reach cortana.  Where is she?


Please note I am not computer savvy so if you can keep it simple, I would appreciate it.

OK, lets tackle the cortana issue.

Click on the Windows key on the task bar.  Click on the GEAR (second option up from power).  Click on Cortana. Make certain the features you want to use, are there.  

If she is just GONE, do this.  Right click over task bar, hover over cortana, make certain HIDDEN isn't selected. See image below:

I checked per your advice, and Cortana does not show up at all. Any other suggestions?

Hi,

Start by opening the Action Center and make sure the Tablet mode isn't enabled.

Right-click on your taskbar and click on Taskbar settings. Next, turn off the Use small taskbar buttons and Show taskbar on all displays options.
