Sony Vaio 2013

Hello,
On the lower right area of my laptop keyboard there is a blank spot with two little images or signs. I was wondering what it was for. They are to the right of the touch mouse pad. I thought it might be a phone charger at first, but didn't charge my phone. One image looks almost like a double "N" and the one right next to it has arrows going in a square pointing to a dot in the middle.
