How do I add a manager to my IG business account?

Hello,
Is this only way to add a manager to my IG business account via Facebook Business Manager? If so how do I add FB business Manager to my FB page. I keep finding only dead ends.

Hi,

To add an Instagram account to a Business Manager, go to your Facebook Business Manager.

On the page, select Business settings and choose Instagram accounts. Now click Claim new Instagram account and follow the instructions to add the account to a Business Manager.

If you want to add a Facebook page to your Business Manager, go to your Business Settings. Below "Accounts", choose Pages > + Add > Add a Page. Then enter the Facebook page URL.

Hi thanks for the info. I'd like to add an additional person to my Instagram business account. Is the only way to that via facebook business manager or is there a workaround?

You'll have to add that user from your Business Manager Settings. Here are the steps to follow. There are also two other ways (in addition to your Business Manger) to manage roles on an Instagram business account, which are explained on this page.
