Yahoo Mail Search not returning results

When I search for anything in the mail inbox or any other folder it will only return items prior to the current date in the previous year. an example search for the Costco will only get results prior to 10/01/2019 or the current date you search.

Nothing else, even when you can see the mail in inbox satisfying the search. What gives? Read everything I can find with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
