Replying without messages going to top automatically

Hello,

Each time i scroll through my messages, every reply my chat jumps straight to the top so i have to consistently scroll down to the bottom again to reply, is there away around this?

System Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 89.0.4389.82

Hello, not that I have no of. The WhatsApp feed is chronological, so the most recent messages will go to the top.
