THE SOUND WON"T WORK!!???

The sound on my dell studio laptop won't work it completely disappeared!!!
The sound control thing was next to the time and the bar that shows how charged my laptop is!
It just isn't there anymore!!!

does anyone have any ideas of what's wrong with my sound!!!???

i had a similar problem, try reinstalling the audio driver(s)...
