Hello, that does sound odd. Could it just be that wherever your mom is recording these voice messages, there is just a lot of background noise (birds & nature)?
Try to get your mom to make a voice recording somewhere quiet - preferably in the evening because there shouldn't be as much bird noise outside.
Alternatively, the next time you are actually with her, you could try recording a message from her phone to see if there is the bird noise, or not.

It has now disappeared, but it did happen before.. Then voice messages were just silent, now it's back to normal..
It must be some phone glitch, but I hope I will figure it out some day haha

I'm not sure, but I suppose it's probable that an application in the background is causing that bird sound. Try reviewing the applications installed on the phone.

It is definitely coming from her phone. Apparently it might not be WhatsApp as birds are often chirping when media volume is up.
Unfortunately I won't be able to see her any time soon due to pandemic, but trying to sort it out as it ruins half of the voice messages haha

If you remember to, post an update - it would be interesting to find out what's making the bird noise :)
