Hello,
Stupid question but, if workstations were set to automatically update, does anything need to be changed after installing the agent? Will they automatically still update or do I need to set it to automatically update in Atera or manually patch?

Hi,

Atera works independently from the Windows Update service. Therefore, if Windows Update is set to search for updates automatically, it will continue to install the available updates.

In case the IT automation profile in Atera starts before Windows Update, it will install the updates first.
