Hello,

I have an issue with active status with one of my friends only....every other one works for friends but no matter what I try with notification settings on PC and on my phone I do not show as active on this one friend and I do not get green dot while talking to him. Any suggestions ?

Hello, there is a setting on Facebook that allows you to turn off your active status. Doing so, other users would not be able to see if you were online or not.

It seems that your friend has enabled this setting - you cannot disable this from your side. Even if you are talking with them "live" and they are responding straight away - you won't see them as being active.
