Hello,
Good Luck.
Bob
- Check whether files are not in hidden mode.
- Click on "Start" --> In search box, type cmd and press "Enter".
- Command prompt will be opened.
- Here I assume your External hard drive letter as G:
- Enter this command.
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
- You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and paste it.
- Note : Don't forget to replace the letter g with your External hard drive letter.
- Now press "Enter".
- Now check for your files in your External hard drive.
Good Luck.
Bob
Thank you sir but it didn't work. It says access denied all through on command prompt. I don't know what else to do.

Hi,
It might be possible that the hidden items option is active in your system. To make sure of this I would suggest you to follow the below steps
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Click on the View tab available on top of the explorer window
3. Now, see if the "Hidden Items" option is checked marked or not
If it is checked marked then untick it to resolve this empty folder issue.
