Windows xp wont start up

Hello, my computer recently crashed and all i get now is the windows xp logo for a split second before it takes me to the windows was unable to load screen. i have tried all four options they gave me i.e start windows in safe mode etc but it still wont load and keeps returning me to that page. unfortunately i do do not have a cd to reinstall windows xp. is there any way i can copy windows xp to my own cd to reinstall it onto my desktop?
